THE MEANINGS OF TIME

Time is like a vast universe that bears our events.

As our actions take place, we measure them in time. What is the meaning of ideas and our actions?

We seek to fulfil ourselves, to devote ourselves to what happens to us each day. We try to list many things which, by being linked to one another, form a support for us, a road for us to travel.

How can we be devoted to finding oursleves? I try to do so through desire.

Drawing a sketch is like planting a seed that we do no know about. An idea occurs, an intention, which responds to a desire. In this nothingness, on a blank piece of paper, we provoke an initial gesture; with a mark, a colour, a first line, I give myself over to a universe of relationships, to a greatly desired journey, as if unexpected. My intention is for feelings to bring me closer to the idea, but art is an unpredictable journey, and while the sketch is in progress, the journey continues.

I want to transport, enlarge and complete the universe of the sketch, and this is where closeness remains, but where uniqueness is found.

The reflection that I have in mind turns into a new ship that wishes to take us on a different journey.

It is a unique experience.

Meanings and time are conspiring, in each moment, to hurl us towards intensity, towards the challenge.
