International projection

The internationalisation of the artists represented by GAS is one of our priorities, so we have designed a programme of presence and performances in the following countries: Mexico, Italy, United States, United Arab Emirates, among others.
The aim is to promote GAS artists around the world and bring their work to a wider audience.

MEXICO 2024

For some time now we have seen Mexico as an interesting country for its contemporary art scene, which is experiencing a remarkable growth; that is why we decided to travel and present the work of Javier Riera (1964, Avilés, Spain) there, as we have already done in other places in Europe and Asia.

We share with you a short video with the actions we have carried out, projecting Riera's work on nature and emblematic buildings in different places of the geography of this great country that has captivated us.

We leave you a link so that you can consult the press generated by these actions that we carried out in Mexico:

ENAIRE FOUNDATION AWARD 2024

The Enaire Foundation, a foundation committed to contemporary art and especially to photography, awards one of the most prestigious prizes every year during PHotoESPAÑA. This year, in its 17th edition, it has awarded the first prize to Javier Riera. The winning work is an intervention on the landscape in which the artist works on the relationship between geometry and nature, with a meditative character that aims to broaden the perception of space.

JAVIER RIERA IN SYDNEY. JUNE 2024

This month, June 2024, was the most recent work presented by Javier Riera at the Vivid Sydney Festival in Australia, where he designed a light installation in the Banagaroo nature reserve. This is a very symbolic place for the city, having been an industrial area converted into a nature reserve.
