Art Spaces, places in motion
Each of our projects stems from a desire for dialogue between art, spaces and the people who inhabit them.
For more than 25 years, we have been driven by the intuition to bring contemporary art closer to the common places of everyday life. From our work with historians, curators, teachers, researchers and poets, to projects such as Domicilio Particular - GAS© or LoBlanc, where beauty finds unexpected twists and turns in everyday life; or our urban interventions, which seek to make the city a stage for collective reflection.
Giving art the space it deserves
For us, every space is an opportunity to bring art closer to new languages. An invitation to look at what we already know in a different way.
Our gallery in Pascual y Genís —now a meeting place— or spaces such as Vicente Beltrán, where large-format works take centre stage, bear witness to the curatorial narrative we have built up over the decades.
A vision that seeks to demystify, bring art closer and show it to the general public. That is why we specialise in taking art to the streets, to the everyday life of citizens, with projects inspired by the city of Valencia and with artists we have been supporting over the years. These projects have been presented in the Turia river gardens and in buildings throughout the city of Valencia.
Outreach and education as a means of transformation
Our activities also include debates and outreach on the work of the artists featured. For more than 25 years, courses, workshops and lectures given by curators, historians and teachers have been our way of approaching art in an educational and unhurried manner.
Our walls have hosted a careful selection of contemporary artists, both national and international, demonstrating how the presence of art can transform a space.
