Candela Cort

A su aire

In this exhibition of collages and hat design, Candela Cort presents a union between art and fashion, created since time immemorial, which shows us that the creation of fashion is linked to art. From the materials used to work with, to the different techniques of creation and composition of the pieces. Candela Cort has created designs for cinema and theatre, as well as for different society events. She has been a catwalk designer for national and international firms and has held numerous exhibitions in different museums and galleries.

JOSE MANUEL BONET

Juan Manuel Bonet speaks in his text about the relationship between art and fashion that Candela Cort develops in his exhibition. A consolidated relationship that has existed for a long time, from the materials used to create new pieces to the techniques, which sometimes resemble those of the sculptors.

By mixing the collages with fashion, Candela proposes that the art of the future must have roots, creating a need to lean on tradition to keep moving forward.
