Fabrizio Corneli

Millimeters and shadows of the little things

In this exhibition, the artist's third at our Gallery, we explore the work of a creator who, for more than four decades, has used light and shadow as his canvas and chisel, moulding narratives charged with spirituality and meaning. Corneli transforms these universal and ephemeral elements into a visual language that dialogues with our perception and spirituality, challenging the traditional boundaries of art. His work goes beyond representation; it invites us to contemplate the intangible and to discover a visual mechanism that awakens both the intellect and the imagination. Drawing on art history and the transcendence of icons, Corneli takes us on a sensory and conceptual journey, in which light not only illuminates, but reveals and conceals, guiding the viewer to the very essence of observation.

Milimeters and shadows of the little things

Chiara Guidoni

Fabrizio Corneli defines himself as a sculptor of light. It therefore seems inevitable, when we are about to talk about him, not to look into this chosen medium that has accompanied him in his experimentation for more than forty years.
