Enrique Asensi

Piedra, dice

In this exhibition, Asensi takes us on a sensory and spiritual journey: his pieces, imbued with mystery and balance, speak to us of the search for proportion, clarity and harmony. Matter comes to life in his hands, and each sculpture is an invitation to pause, explore the space and connect with the very essence of artistic creation. His sculptures, born of creative solitude and deep contemplation, invite us to look slowly, to discover the invisible and to let ourselves be fascinated by the silent beauty that emerges in each of his works.Enrique Asensi, whose career has flourished in Germany and has been recognised throughout Europe, is a poet of matter, a creator who transforms stone and metal into forms that dialogue with space, light and time.

Reviews

Piedra, dice

por Alfonso de la Torre

I am now rereading a letter written by Enrique Asensi (Valencia, 1950) a few months ago, in which he told me that he was engaged in a ‘soliloquy’ in his work. The letter also referred to a few ‘clear and happy days of solitude’, et in Arcadia his sculptural world, life in entropy that the artist revealed, signifying the attempt ‘to express the inexpressible in words’.
