Javier Riera
Resonancias de reflejo y sombra
This exhibition brings together diverse elements such as photographs and videos of interventions made with light and geometry on the landscape, part of which take place in Iceland. The interaction of geometry with the landscape is an essential part of Javier Riera's work and was one of the most treated themes in sculpture and architecture of the twentieth century. In this case the intangible and ephemeral character of light contrasts with the volumetric and spatial definition of the pieces that seem objects with full physical consistency. This exhibition is completed with two parallel spaces: Domicilio particular, located at 5 Cabillers Street, where you can see the sculpture titled AB RT and El Jardín del Río Turia with an intervention with light and geometry titled “Alameda Llum. Three places of light”.
